Marco Martinez

Marco Martinez graduated with honors from Brown University, then received his first of two Master’s in Global Health with a specialty in Disease Prevention focusing on HIV and Neglected Tropical Diseases from Georgetown University, and his second Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from UTRGV.

Marco is an active alumni for Brown where he is the chair for Community and Belonging, and is a board member for the non-profit clinic Primeros Pasos in Guatemala which servers 11 indigenous Mayan communities in Quetzaltenango. Marco is passionate about providing equitable, affordable, and elite healthcare to the Latinx LGTBQIA+ community of The RGV, about advancement of DE&I in healthcare, and being a leader in his community.
